Robert Jeffess says God Will Authorize Trump to Smite Kim-Jong Un

“When it comes to how we should deal with evil doers, the Bible, in the book of Romans, is very clear: God has endowed rulers full power to use whatever means necessary — including war — to stop evil. In the case of North Korea, God has given Trump authority to take out Kim Jong-Un. I’m heartened to see that our president — contrary to what we’ve seen with past administrations who have taken, at best, a sheepish stance toward dictators and oppressors — will not tolerate any threat against the American people. When President Trump draws a red line, he will not erase it, move it, or back away from it. Thank God for a President who is serious about protecting our country.”
The problem is that a protracted war with that guy will too much bloodshed and send a fragile world economy into a massive recession. War is never worth it. Even with a fanatic like him.
It is probably better to accept that North Koreans need to be viewed as a rational player who wants control over the regime and wants the attention. I do not see that Kim Jong Un will want to see his iron grip of power seized from him by a foolish, idiotic war. The last country that seriously waged war was Germany who had the economic ablity to withstand a protracted war against the Western allies. If the Hitler did not have hubris of invading the Soviet Union and accepted rule over Western Europe with Franco and Mussloni as other rulers, the Third Reich could have theoretically won the war.
But Kim Jong Un does not have the industrial might of the Nazis along with a constrained view of war, he knows that he can only rule his “Hermit Kingdom” and that nuclear weapons are designed to beat the US and China at a game of high-stakes poker with North Korea being the winner with increased economic power by having an ICBM. Only a chickenhawk like Trump is willing to go all-in with Kim Jong Un.
And Jeffress with his apocalypse view would be thinking that Trump would be the vessel that would smite that the Hermit Kingdom in wrath of God’s judgment through the US army. Well, Jeffress, your view of God is completely wrong and will lead in a massive disaster. I am not saying that the fundie’s concept of God is wrong but rather, this specific interpretation of biblical eschatological viewpoint is playing with Russian rolleute. I think Jesus would have give him Mr. Jeffress a severe admoishment. While Mr. Jeffress is probably a believer, his theological views are so out there that I think that God thinks that he is nuts.

11th Step Prayer

Worship
One of the most difficult concepts for me is the emotional connection with God. Righţ now, worship is primarily achieved through intellectual knowledge of the truth. My heart meditates on the truths through reading zcripture and various devotionals.
Perhaps, it will be very difficult to make an emotional connection because God made me as a logical and analytical person. Or this something that I ask from God in prayer. Maybe, this is something that I had to trust God for as a gift.
In conclusion, this issue of faith and worship to God cannot be done on my power.
Culture Wars
It is time for me to end the with war. The war is a war of vast misunderstandings. I have decide that the culture wars are irrelevant to a belief in Christ. I think there is no bibical basis for the cultural wars. The fall of man does not depend on the earth being 4000 years old. It considers that gays have the rights of civil liberties and gay marriage should be legal if the intent of the constitution was to have marriage regardless of persuasion. Gay sex is a sin but all sex outside of the marriage convenant is sin.
I agree with BM’s of progressive view of culture. There are a lot of differences between me and the community on spiritual issues but I think for the first time in my life that I got it. My belief system is what will keep me sober and be spiritually content. A faith in Christ is critical for spiritually fufillment. However, part of my personal development requires contiunal participation in Burning Man.
What I am alizing is that my path is unique. Everybody spiritual path is different. Each people follows their path to spiritual fufillment. While my spirituality preaches the road is narrow, the world offer many paths to life.
