Right Wing Media Machine and Facui

This week the right-wing has been having a field day with the Dr. Fauci media, and there is one observation that I would like to share.

The right-wing is attacking Dr. Fauci for committing the sin of being inconsistent. So Dr. Fauci had to have the execution function to remain consistent on everything he does to avoid right-wing smears. When people under intensive pressure and stress, the brain will resort to a more instinctual level. As a result, they make many decisions that seem to be inconsistent and could be interpreted that they all over the map on the issue. Or it can be explained that Dr. Fauci had limited facts, was under extreme pressure, was required to act assertively, and had to deal with Donald Trump. The latter has a reputation for being wildly inconsistent and creating unbearable pressure.

If this is applied to our life, then we need to be conscientious of being 100% consistent all of the time to avoid the risk of not pleasing somebody or, more importantly, triggering people who use every little inconsistency to create further opportunities for themselves. One example of this is people who gossip as a method to gain social acceptance. So every mistake you make provides an opportunity for this person to gossip about the event, which that person could use to increase their social influence and standing. Or in the work environment, a scheming coworker can use this issue to curry favor boss to win over promotion or increase their influence in the agency.

The types of conversations about improving the system or gaining perspective insight from past mistakes to avoid potential problems are completely missing from their criticism. Rather, the mistakes of Dr. Fauci are being exploited by the right-wing to deflect attention off Donald Trump and themselves. It shows that these people are using these attacks to hide behind their insecurities or use it to make a new revenue center for campaign donations or increase media traffic on their site. In a sense, these people are attacking Dr. Fauci as a way to enrich themselves like any good cynical capitalist would do. Right-wing media organizaiton and politicians depend on campaign contributions and traffic to their websites. Well, anything that appears as highly sensational and smears the authority of somebody that your audience or consistency does not like is easy opportunity to drive up the clicks and the donations to your next campaign.

It is the responsiblity of the right-wing media to accurately portray facts in the framework within their own cognitive bias. They have the right to portray and present facts/information/arguments that would bring new and interesting facts to our attention. It is deleriction of those responsiblities when that organization willfuly, delibrately, and premedatively uses misinformation and sensationlism to advance their cause. It is the responsiblity of the people read their website to determine if the organization or politician is engaging willfuly, delibrately, and predmediately spreading disinformation. If both sides are willfully, delibratelily, and premediately in negatating that disinformation, than some type of external response must be taken on by outside third-party who is independent to mitigate the extensive of the adverse impact on other people

The answer to this problem would be a trillion dollar question which everbody wants answered, but has no idea where to begin. And let me tell you, I have no answer to the problem.

Please that this post is considered to be a rant. The author of the post has not performed an extensive study of right-wing media due to time limitations. There is substantial risk of misrepresenting the views of other right-wing commentary that I have might missed that could be factual accurate. Still, I lacked the time to investigate due to other higher priority issues (like packing my parents RV). Also, the author is not a professional political scientist, journalist, or behavioral health specialist. Therefore, the reliance upon my rants should not be taken seriously.

And yes, in this era, writing a disclaimer statement is way to cover your ass, but in these times, with people willing to ruining reputation, than that using those disclaimers is a good idea to be honest and transparent with people.
