R.I.P for FCS

It looks like FCS is RIP.    However, I knew that was coming for a long after the GAO writes report after report that there is a cost overruns on the system

Ex-Miss California inks a book deal

From MSNBC

The former Miss California who was stripped of her title last month has a book deal.

Carrie Prejean will publish a memoir called “Still Standing.” Conservative book house Regnery  Publishing said Monday that it will release the book.

According to the publisher’s announcement, Prejean will tell her side of the story in the memoir, “answering such questions as what happened behind the scenes at the pageant, why she answered the Perez Hilton question as she did, what really led to her losing the Miss California crown, and how she has been forced to battle the left’s double-standard on free speech and the bias against conservatives — particularly conservative women — who stand up for their beliefs.”

What double standard?  Michelle Malkin and Laura Inghram are respected conservative commentators that have a lot of clout in the conservative media.  And Ms. Prejean should have known who she is dealing with. Perez Hilton.  This guy will do anything to trash people’s reputation and create false, malicious gossip because he makes a living to do it.  Mr. Hilton is a gossip reporter and not a political commentator.

And when is a beauty pagent is supposed to place to launch political crusade against gay marriage? Do people really are going to change their mind on gay marriage based on your testimonals aganist? The answer is no, no, and no.

I wish that she just faded from the spotlight.
