Never Propose to a Girl at Walmart
There was some fool who proposed at Wal-Mart? Of all places. If there was an article of ten worst place to propose to a Girl, Walmart would be in the top ten. Maybe he should took at this before proposing for marriage..
If you want to do some place, a beach or the shoreline at a local lake is far more romantic place than Wal-Mart and it will not cost any money.
To all the guys out of there. The lesson is do not pop the question at a Walmart.

2.Pontius Pilate, Barack Obama, and Sarah Palin
My brain is fried after eight hours of auditing and my work computer’s hard drive getting fried. Ugh! So my mind is not sharp enough to write detailed critque of this article. But I find this part of the article very interesting
“Sensing that Obama’s “community organizer” status was turning into a national joke, the left lashed out at Palin. On the floor of the House of Representatives, Rep. Steve Cohen (Tenn.) stated that “Barack Obama was a community organizer like Jesus. . .Pontius Pilate was a governor.”
Similarly, Democrat political strategist Donna Brazile said on CNN, “Jesus was a community organizer, Pontius Pilate, a governor.” Several days later, actress Susan Sarandon followed suit: “Jesus was a community organizer and Pontius Pilate was a governor. That’s all I have to say!” “
Huh! Trying to compare Obama to Jesus. I thing Obama is a great man and I will vote for him. But, this is getting into the area of the cult of personality. Due to Obama’s sheer charisma (not his fault), his persona draw a cult of personality so at times, Obama appears to be somewhat of Messiah for America’s problem.
And Sarah Palin as a Pontius Pilate? Ha? What? Yeah, she has some minor scandals but she not as corrupt as Cheney.
People grow up. Stop assigning bibical motifs to politican. A politican is a politican and that is what they are. I vote for Obama because of his policies and my hopes that Obama will have a multi-laterial foreign policy compared to Bushes’s unilaterialism.
I do not think Obama is Messiah, I do not Obama is not the next FDR. I am voting for him because of policy and NOT because he is great messiah that some people think he is.

Car Camps for Homeless Peoples
It is important that we start to pressure our local politicans to provide better services for the homeless. As the economic crises worsen, more and more people are becoming homeless. Even people that held high-paying jobs are at risk of becoming homeless.
For example, cities should start to follow in the direction of Seattle, This is excerpt of an article on local Seattle TV station
“A new effort is in progress in Ballard to create car camps for people who live in their vehicles, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.
In Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, it’s common to see people such as Tom Nickels living in RVs and other vehicles under the Ballard Bridge.
Nickels said his RV is the only way he can afford to live in Ballard and considers himself lucky.
“Having a vehicle with a hard roof when it’s raining is a pretty nice feeling,” said Nickels.
KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter George Howell found people living in their vehicles all over Ballard.
Some light fires and use barbecues to cook on.
Some business owners said the mobile living arrangement causes problems.
“Within half a block (of my business) there is a crack dealer, people who throw excrement out of the front door and walk in and out of it, and when it gets too stinky they move half a block,” said business owner Doug Harris”
People that complain about crime need to understand that this nation is severe economic distress and people need a place to live. Homeless services like car camps can allow people to have a place to live and also a place to create community and fellowship when they life circumstances are bleak
